Soc 4013: Sociological
Theory
A Web Enhanced Course
A study of the great classical
tradition in sociology and the expression of this tradition in contemporary
theory.
For the past 200 years the
"logic" of the industrial revolution has been working itself out in western
society. The purpose of this course is to familiarize the student with
paradigms that explain this sociocultural evolution and to speculate on
